Beautiful Morning

We've been trapped in the house this weekend, even though we had planned to get outta town. We originally scheduled a trip to the north Georgia mountains.

Then life happened.

Haley's vet called us and said that some yearly blood tests she took earlier this week came back indicating the possibility of serious disease. She underwent multiple re-tests in the latter part of the week, which we spent thinking about her. And Jay has been dealing with what I think is an infected nerve in his tooth, which will probably require a root canal. We both think it is likely that he will be able to get it taken care of tomorrow. We picked up meds for Haley's less serious problem on Saturday. It turned out that the initial test results were skewed. Talk about a blessing from above! We sure do feel it!

We woke up in our house this morning with this sunrise...and we were happy to be home.
