Double the Trouble (or are they?)
This is the first time that I've ever lived with two dogs. It seems like it would be so much more work and...mess. It is a little messier of course, with double the fur-balls running around, but I have found out something amzaing. When there are two dogs in the house, they become the best of friends. They take care of each other. They snuggle, they play tug of war and play catch me if you can, they lounge together and eat together...they love each other. And, when we're gone, we don't have to worry about one dog sitting home alone. We don't have to feel guilty about leaving on a Saturday when we need to go to Walmart or grocery shopping, especially when it seems to take hours. And everything that we do to take care of one dog - really takes just slightly more effort for the second. Feedings? One more scoop. Going to the vet? Bring the second one along. Boarding? Take them both at once. It really isn't as bad as I thought.
And the best part? More to love!
