I'm a huge baseball fan - I grew up here in Atlanta, and have been a die-hard Braves fan for as long as I can remember. I remember going to Atlanta Fulton County Stadium to watch the Braves, and Chief Knock-a-Homa had a teepee in the center field seats. I remember sitting in our game room watching the games with my Dad and brother Lee - pulling for Dale Murphy, Bruce Benedict, Bob Horner, Rafael Ramirez, & Glenn Hubbard. 1991 was an amazing year for Braves fans - the year they went from worst to first, which started a run of Division Championships that will be looked at as one of the greatest feats in the history of baseball. Bream's slide, Otis Nixon's catch, Chipper Jones' bat, & THE GREATEST PITCHING STAFF EVER (Smoltz, Glavine, Maddox, Steve Avery, & Leibrandt).
Michelle and I try to get to a few games a year. We got to go see the Braves play the Dodgers in August, and thanks to Jacob, we had GREAT seats in the shade. I love going to Turner Field - it's like a cathedral (a very expensive cathedral - but well worth it).
Sitting in Braves traffic - the game was a sellout
The view from our seats - that's Derek Lowe pitching
