Jay and I were laying around one Saturday when he told me about dog pictures on AJC.com. It was a 'submit you picture' for summer fun article. I started to upload a couple of pictures but the site was taking too long and I just x-ed out of it. Jay called a couple of weeks later and said that Haley was on the front page of AJC.com. Yup, she's ridiculous cute. :)

Cheesy, I know. We have a bunny that lives in our backyard, in an area that is fenced off from the dogs and anyone else. We put up a wire fence a while back because the dogs kept sliding down the pinestraw filled hill to the bottom. He was born in our backyard and has always stayed in the area, even though he can easily go under our fence. I'm just glad he's safe on our hill. We can't name him so his name became "bunny." And I always seem to change pet names i.e. Murphy is smurph, murph, murphalicious, smurphalicious, etc. I'm an animal lover and can't resist putting out food and water for him. Here he is eating some carrots.
I've started volunteering for Adopt a Golden Atlanta. I have always wanted to help out, but just didn't know how to get involved. Kitty Cathy, who owns Pekay Goldens helped me get in touch with the right people to start volunteering. I love it! I have really enjoyed spending time with the dogs who are in desparate need of some love!
We went over to the in-laws on Father's Day. Jay's dad made his special homemade burgers that everyone loves!
Michelle and I made our way over to the Marietta Square for the Wing 'N Rock festival. My college roommate and Fraternity brother Wes lives in historic district, so we didn't have to worry about parking (or a ride home :) ). There were about twenty wing vendors lining the streets. It's tough to say who had the best wings - but I'd be happy with Taco Mac, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Wild Wing Cafe. In the park, we watched a Led Zeppelin cover band (the drummer was incredible - they played Moby Dick and he went wild...), and then an Allman Brothers cover band (who were EXCELLENT).
